Kids Cancer Care is a registered Canadian charity that has been supporting Alberta families facing childhood cancer for more than 25 years. The foundation offers programs at no cost to families including Camp and Outreach, Research and Hospital, Education Support, and Scholarship Programs. Kids Cancer Care's programs are designed to address the life-long physical and mental health challenges that come with childhood cancer.
The Biology Students' Association is dedicated to fundraising money for Kids Cancer Care by hosting a virtual raffle with an array of prizes that may be won based on paid ticket entries. All the money raised from this event will be donated to the Kids Cancer Care charity.
We hope to give students at the University of Calgary and their family and friends an opportunity to get involved in helping the greater community, as the BSA is dedicated to giving back and helping others. With over $800.00 worth of prizes to be given away in the raffle, we hope to fundraise as much money as we can for Kids Cancer Care!
Tickets will be sold from 9:00 am March 1st, 2021 to 6:00 pm March 31st, 2021 and winners will be chosen on April 1st, 2021 at 7:00 pm by a random number generator in a public and recorded zoom call. The more tickets you buy, the higher chance it is for you to win one or more prizes! Each ticket number can only be drawn once. Winners will be contacted on April 2nd, 2021 to discuss means of delivery or pickup.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to enter the raffle.
