​Student Awards (applications closed) 

 

The BSA Executive Council established the BSA awards to recognize undergraduate Biological Sciences students at the University of Calgary excelling in five categories. We are excited to present these awards again and recognize other remarkable students for the 2023-24 school year.

The five awards we are presenting this academic year are the:

• BSA Advocacy Award (1)

• BSA Community Involvement Award (1)

• BSA Innovation Award (1)

• BSA Leadership Award (1)

• BSA Undergraduate Research Award (1)

To be eligible for an award with the BSA, you must meet the following requirements: 

1. Be an undergraduate student at the University of Calgary

2. Be enrolled in one of the following majors: Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology, Ecology, Plant Biology, or Zoology OR is completing a minor or concentration in a program offered by the Department of Biology.

3. Be a member of the BSA (you can sign up through our website at www.bsaucalgary.ca/get-involved)
